Dreams of Peace

In the quiet twilight’s tender embrace,
Amidst the chaos, I seek a sacred space,
A realm where sorrows and hatred cease,
Oh, let me dream of a world at peace.

Through tear-stained eyes, I glimpse the light,
A beacon of hope, dispelling the night,
In every heart, a yearning release,
Oh, let me dream of a world at peace.

In war-torn lands, the children weep,
Their innocence lost, a secret they keep,
I hear their cries, their longing increase,
Oh, let me dream of a world at peace.

On whispered winds, a plea takes flight,
Unite our souls, let love ignite,
For in compassion, all pain shall decrease,
Oh, let me dream of a world at peace.

The rivers’ flow, a soothing song,
Where forgiveness dwells, hearts belong,
May hatred’s grip forever cease,
Oh, let me dream of a world at peace.

Embracing differences, we find our way,
Together, we’ll paint a brighter day,
In unity, all grievances shall release,
Oh, let me dream of a world at peace.

Let kindness reign, like gentle rain,
Washing away each ounce of disdain,
In harmony, our fears shall decrease,
Oh, let me dream of a world at peace.

With open hearts, let empathy bloom,
Dispel the darkness, dispel the gloom,
For love’s embrace grants a sweet release,
Oh, let me dream of a world at peace.

Though storms may come, and trials increase,
In unity, we’ll find lasting peace,
In every soul, let love find its lease,
Oh, let us dream of a world at peace.
