Echoes of Yesterday

In the quiet corners of my mind,
Where shadows softly blend and wind,
Echoes of yesterday softly call,
Whispers of dreams that rise and fall.

A time when laughter danced on air,
And love was a song beyond compare,
We wove our days with threads of gold,
In stories that the stars once told.

But seasons shift and moments fade,
Like autumn leaves in twilight laid,
The warmth we knew now feels so far,
A distant, glowing, fleeting star.

Yet in the stillness of the night,
I feel your presence, soft and light,
A gentle touch, a fleeting breath,
Reminding me that love defies death.

Though time may change and hearts may mend,
Some bonds remain, they never end,
In the echoes of our yesterdays,
I find your light in endless ways.

So let the years turn, let them pass,
I’ll hold your memory like glass,
Fragile, yet so deeply clear,
A testament of all we held dear.
