Heart of Wheels

In the twilight’s soft embrace, I stand,
Amidst a sea of metal and rubber land,
Where emotion lingers in the air,
For cars, too, bear souls that deeply care.

Upon these roads, they carry our weight,
Through triumph and sorrow, love and hate,
A steadfast companion, through thick and thin,
A loyal ally, our secrets within.

In memories etched upon their frame,
Lies a tale of joy and heartache’s flame,
Each dent and scratch, a mark of life,
An emblem of strength through toil and strife.

They witness laughter and tears alike,
With every mile, a story to recite,
The engine’s purr, a comforting song,
Through long highways and roads so long.

In the rearview mirror, the past resides,
Moments cherished, where love abides,
Yet, at times, their metal hearts break,
As memories of the departed they take.

For they hold the echoes of voices stilled,
The dreams of those with destinies fulfilled,
A cherished passenger, once embraced,
Now an empty seat, a memory traced.

Their trunks, a vault for dreams and hopes,
A place for secrets and love’s lost tropes,
Within their cabins, emotions collide,
As we journey through life’s turbulent tide.

When days grow dark and spirits low,
Their comforting presence begins to glow,
A refuge they offer, a safe cocoon,
Through trials faced beneath the moon.

So, when you gaze upon those wheels,
Remember, they feel what the heart conceals,
In the realm of emotions, they play a part,
For cars, too, possess a beating heart.
