Resilience’s Refrain
In the quiet depths of night’s embrace,
Where shadows dance and dreams take chase,
There lies a heart, burdened and worn,
By the weight of tears silently sworn.
Each breath a whisper, a fragile sigh,
Echoes of hope that dared to fly,
Through fields of longing, where love once bloomed,
Now wilted petals in sorrow consumed.
Memories linger in the silent air,
Like fragile threads, too frail to bear,
The weight of time, the ache of loss,
A symphony of pain, a haunting gloss.
Yet in the darkness, a flicker ignites,
A spark of courage, a beacon in nights,
For within the depths, resilience resides,
A flame of strength, where hope abides.
So let the tears fall, let them cleanse the soul,
For in their release, healing takes its toll,
And from the ashes of despair’s cruel art,
Rises a phoenix, with a brand new start.
Though scars may linger, and wounds may ache,
The spirit endures, no bond can break,
For love is eternal, a guiding light,
Through the darkest of hours, through the longest night.
